The 2.5 day workshop provides an evaluation of the Detector R&D program being carried out in support of the High Energy Physics science mission. The workshop presents existing & developing instrumentation needs in the five science drivers identified by P5 within the twenty year science vision.
for detection technologies, grand challenges for the field and instrumentation opportunities that enable our science. In addition to plenary and parallel sessions and working groups there is a colloquium on Quantum Devices and keynote plenary on Nanotechnology.
The workshop is organized by the Coordinating Panel for Advanced Detectors (CPAD)* of the Division of Particles and Fields of the American Physical Society.
